100 words summary of Design-Age
Within a few years, half the adult population of Europe will be older than 50. But older customers have rarely been a target for the development of new products and services. The Design Age Network, or DAN, set up in conjunction with the Royal College of Art in London, supports collaborative research and development, and information sharing, among institutions, companies, experts and designers throughout Europe. For DAN, this population shift is an immense opportunity and a challenge. DAN helps designers learn from the experience of older consumers, and brings scientific, medical and social expertise together to enhance the innovation process.
